When Chris Martino's first surfboard broke in half, he couldn't bare to let see his board get tossed. So Chris Martino opened a galley in Solana Beach devoted to turning broken surfboards into works of art. Video included.

Chris loved his board so much he decided to not toss it into the trash or leave it on the beach for some grom to put back together, he opted instead to turn it into art. As more boards broke and as word spread of his creations, people began asking for some of his artwork. Enough people were interested that recently Chris opened his own gallery, Project X Art Gallery in Solana Beach, to showcase his handiwork. Better hurry, the exhibit only lasts until January 17!
