Continuing Swell CoverageSeems like all the news outlets in San Diego are hitting the beaches to catch video of these waves and talk to lifeguards about rescues. As that count continues to grow we have a nice collection of stories and videos to get your week started and the excitement for our next swell on Wednesday.

We have been seeing a lot of coverage of this last swell and the one to hit us this Wednesday, so we thought we would just compile it for ya here. Enjoy!

 

 

 

Strong surf continues to pound San Diego beaches [CBS 8]

 

 

The agency was expecting surf heights around 5 to 8 feet with sets of 10 feet Monday morning. By this afternoon, surf heights should drop to about 2 feet with larger sets becoming less frequent, according to the Weather Service.
 
On Sunday, at least a dozen people were rescued from the strong surf, including one man who went to the hospital with back injuries.
