OMG! Wish i saw this

OMG! Wish i saw this earlier. Come on, i know the people living @ the beach have to deal with a few a-holes, but come on. I have to deal with people where i live drinking and tossing trash on the ground in front of my house. So should we ban lets see, liqueur store, starbucks, subway, pizza store? Littering is a law. Drunk in public is a law. The beach is a public place and belongs to everyone not just the people who live at the beach. The beach is a beutiful place and everyone loves it, but can not afford to live on it. People will get even more drunk in anticipation of journey from a bar that is one block from the beach. If you ban liqueur on the beach you will still have drunks pissing on your house, and trash on your streets. I am glad to see that most people visiting Surfsd agree a ban is not a solution.

The ban should be on a per

The ban should be on a per beach vote, not a sweeping all beach ban. If it's a beach a lot of families go to then yes there should not be alcohol at the beach, period. If there are families at the beach trying to have a fun day then keep the alcohol out of there and let the children play and enjoy their day. If it's a locals hangout then leave it up to the local surfers who already keep the area regulated. Drug Rehab Program
