A 55 year-old man was having difficulty in the water on Tuesday when fellow surfers came to his rescue. Witnesses say he was barley holding onto his board and barely above water. A group of surfers attempted to notify lifeguards and were able to bring him to shore for CPR. Unfortunately he passed away at the hospital. The video and story from San Diego 6 is below.
