Got there early, about 7:40.

Got there early, about 7:40. SurfRider was set up and got the few early bird going. I got my shirt and headed out. Its all about those free shirts i tell ya.

Shirts and SurfBoard to be raffled off at 10:30.

The Beach was already groomed, but you can see they trash we were getting could not be picked up without volunteers. Most trash was at the high tide line.
I have been fishing on the jetties alot, but these were the BIGGEST RAT TRACKS I HAVE EVER SEEN !!!!
Surf was about 2-3 feet little windy but not blown out.
When I got back I found out a lot of people did not come for concert tickets. Neither did I, but one of the volunteers listed off what they had and offered me a ticket cause I was not coming back for the raffle. Incubus, Slightly Stupid, 311, Snoop Dog, or 91x concert series at the races. I guess I am going to the Friday race this year. Free Cliff bars! and not those ones that are like food bricks. So in about an hour I picked up about 20 lbs. of trash from bottle caps to shoes and shirts. That adds up when you see about 50 other volunteers helping clean up our beaches.
